It has been a very long time since our last blog post. 2010 was a crazy year for us with TONS of changes and after going back and forth between blogger and wordpress, and performing a few make-overs our blog has finally settled back here and we're here to stay (for a long while anyways!).
For the last couple of months we've been reflecting on 2010 and the whirlwind of change it's brought us both regarding photography and personally. Our biggest personal change last year was the birth of our daughter Isabella on April 9.
This is her at 2 days old, and then 81/2 months old.
She has been such an adorable addition to our family, but she definitely keeps us on our toes. Isaiah was a pretty laid back baby but not Isabella! She's just started crawling and there's no stopping her, she's into EVERYTHING! I'm constantly running after her and I'm exhausted by the end of the day, but it's so worth it as I think any mom would tell you!
Another big personal change this year was our move back to Calgary. With the birth of Isabella, we really wanted to be close to my family. I have a large family and they missed out on so much of Isaiah's life, I didn't want to do that again. We also missed Calgary itself and so we made the leap and here we are. It's been a big adjustment, especially with having to build a business from scratch again, and we miss a lot of things about Winnipeg, particularly the amazing friends we made, but we are so happy to be here and see what life will bring us!
Our biggest photography change (aside from our constant striving to make ourselves better) was our change of name from Kerry Connelly Photography to Connelly Studios. It just made sense. That's why you'll see our older posts have a different watermark.
We've also been reflecting on our work throughout 2010. I love to look back at all of the amazing clients we've had and pick out my favourite photos for different categories. It's always so hard to choose my favourites because I have so many, but here we go:
